It was my 1st time visiting Hollywood Skin Beauty for a Brazilian Wax, and it well exceeded my expectations! At first I thought it was like other waxing places that have you remove your bottoms and just hop on the table. But to my surprise Jessie curated a luxury experience in just that short of time. 1st and foremost, she was extremely pleasant and professional when I arrived. She led me to the back of the spa where they had these nice lockers. She then instructed me to get undressed and offered me a luxury robe and towel wrap and Slippers instead. I was "Ooooh, this is niiice." She then showed me to their relaxing waiting room where she offered me a beverage as I sat, decompressed and unwind. Once I was done with my beverage she led me back into the treatment room, where she performed my service. Jessie was quick and efficient, and applied needed pressure so the service was practically painless. I was very happy with my results and her attention to Detail. Was really excited to try this place for a facial, as it’s close by to my home. Had a 5pm appointment, got there by 4:50. Was waiting in the back room for the esthetician, thinking they were finishing up a client. By 5:15 I hadn’t heard anything, so I walked back up to the front desk to ask the receptionist. Thats when I learned the esthetician was coming from somewhere else apparently, and had not arrived yet. He texted and called the esthetician to no avail. I had a tight schedule so I ended up having to cancel the appointment & leaving around 5:25. I never heard from anyone about an apology or explanation of what happened. Terrible first impression of this business. I gave 2 starts because the receptionist was very nice.

EDIT: the owner reached out to me shortly after the above incident and apologized, then offered a free microdermabrasion facial for the inconvenience, which I accepted. The facial was wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. She also did a skin analysis and gave her honest opinion on what services I could benefit from going forward to treat my hyperpigmentation. Amazing hospitality and service. I’ll definitely be back....more
