Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Hair & Scalp Consultation.

During the consultation we assess scalp condition, hair density, and medical history, perform a scalp-camera exam, discuss concerns, and review scalp detox and nourishment options. You will receive a tailored treatment plan and recommended next steps.

Most consultations last 30 to 45 minutes depending on complexity. We allow time for evaluation, discussion of scalp detox or topical options, and personalized recommendations. Follow-up visits are available for treatments or ongoing care.

A consultation identifies contributing factors and recommends medical referral when appropriate. While we address scalp health, detox, and topical nourishment to improve the growth environment, genetic hair loss may require medical treatments or specialist collaboration.

Most clients experience little to no discomfort during assessment. Procedures are noninvasive and gentle; any in-office treatments such as scalp exfoliation or micro-massage are tolerated well. Your provider will discuss sensations and adjust techniques for comfort.

After the consultation you will receive a customized plan with home care, product suggestions, and treatment options like scalp detox or nourishment therapies. Follow recommended routines and schedule follow-ups to track progress and adjust your hair-growth strategy.

Cosmetic consultations are usually not covered by insurance. If there is a medical diagnosis or physician referral, portions may be billable. We provide documentation and can coordinate referrals; contact our front desk for benefit verification and billing guidance.
