Yes, when performed by trained technicians using professional formulations and proper patch testing. We recommend removing contacts during the treatment and disclosing allergies or recent eye procedures to minimize risk and ensure comfort.
Lash tinting is temporary and colors the hair shaft only. As lashes shed and regrow, the color fades naturally, typically lasting four to six weeks. Repeated tinting maintains the look without permanently altering eyelash roots.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid waterproof mascara for 24 hours prior. Bring allergy information and avoid recent eye procedures. If you wear contacts, bring a case to store them during the service.
Side effects are uncommon; mild irritation or redness can occur, particularly in very sensitive clients. We perform a patch test, use gentle dyes, and provide immediate care and aftercare instructions should any reaction appear.
Avoid mascara for 24-48 hours to allow the tint to set fully. After that, water-based mascaras are fine, but oil-based removers can shorten tint longevity. Many clients choose to skip mascara entirely after tinting.
