We recommend about 1/4 inch of hair (roughly two to three weeks of growth) for optimal waxing results. You can trim if needed but avoid shaving before your appointment. Our estheticians will assess and advise for best comfort and removal.

Mild redness or sensitivity is normal and usually subsides within 24–48 hours. To reduce ingrown hairs and irritation, follow aftercare: gentle exfoliation, hydrating lotions, and avoid tight clothing. Persistent issues should be evaluated by our team for tailored care and products.

Pain varies by individual and sensitivity, but most clients report quick, manageable discomfort. Our technicians use fast techniques, premium waxes, and calming pre- and post-care. Numbing options are available on request to increase comfort for first-time or especially sensitive clients.

Schedule maintenance every 4–6 weeks initially; many clients move to 6–8 week intervals as growth slows. Frequency depends on personal hair cycle, skin sensitivity, and desired smoothness. We’ll recommend a tailored schedule during your consultation for consistent optimal results.

Come with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy lotions or oils before your appointment. Skip retinol or exfoliating treatments for several days and refrain from tanning. Wear loose clothing to reduce post-wax friction. Our staff will review any additional prep instructions as needed.

Certain conditions and medications may contraindicate waxing, including isotretinoin use, active skin infections, open wounds, recent sunburn, or uncontrolled diabetes. Inform us of medical history and medications. We’ll perform a consultation to determine safety or recommend alternative hair removal options.
