Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Face Wax.

Your esthetician begins with a consultation and gentle cleanse, then shapes brows and removes hair from the lip, chin, and cheeks using professional wax. The service includes soothing aftercare and typically takes 30–45 minutes depending on needs.

Sensitivity varies, but waxing discomfort is brief. Our technicians use calming techniques, high-quality wax, and post-wax soothing products. Topical numbing can be offered on request for very sensitive clients to improve comfort.

Results generally last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles and hormones. With regular waxing, hair often regrows finer and sparser, extending the smooth period over time.

Avoid retinoids, strong exfoliants, and direct sun exposure for several days before your appointment. Ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long, arrive with clean skin, and disclose any skin treatments or medications.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, apply a soothing aloe or hydrating serum, avoid exfoliation for a few days, and wear SPF to protect freshly waxed skin.

Clients with active sunburn, open wounds, severe rosacea flare-ups, or recent chemical peels should postpone waxing. Also inform us if you've used isotretinoin in the past six months; a consultation will determine eligibility.
